OBIT Mrs. Sophie M. Heider, 86, of 903 W. 22nd St., died in her home yesterday. She was born on Kelley's Island, April 13, 1879, and had made her home in Lorain since 1906. Mrs. Heider was a member of St. Joseph Church, a charter member of the Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary, and a charter member of the Christian Mothers Society of the church. Survivors include two sons, William J. and Oscar M., both of Lorain; three daughters, Mrs. Erwin (Marcella) Fitch, Parma Heights, Mrs. Ralph (Gertrude) Schneider, Lorain, Mrs. Richard (Alma) Eastin, Amherst; 14 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Reichlin, Lorain, and Mrs. Emma Linden, Cleveland. Her husband, William died in 1958 and two brothers and six sisters preceded her in death. Friends may call at John R. Dovin Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. Services will be Tuesday with a Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, with Mrs. Heider's nephew, the Rev. Urban Reichlin, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Lorain
