My mother (Jet Stack Bowser Zack) told me that when mygrandmother died, Agnes, as the eldest unmarried girl moved back home tocare for the younger children but died herself, a few months later. Inthe back of my mind I always thought she died during the flu epidemicfollowing WWI, but the timing is all wrong. I think the epidemic was in1919. When Agnes died, the older girls, Mary, Kate and Helen took care ofthe young ones. I don't have any details."
