He wasnaturalized in probate court, Mahoning County on October 22, 1896; heworked at Republic Steel as a heater along with his father and brothers.A thorough search was made of the English birth index system at theFamily History Library in Salt Lake City UT but no birth record was foundfor either Patrick or Joseph. He was introduced to Honora (always knownas Nora) by her cousin Mary Leddy. Honora ' Nora' M. Cashman was born in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan,Wales on November 18, 1868; was baptized at Sr. Illtyd Church on December5, 1868.
