I spoke to Aunt Mary, and she said Uncle Richard will be bured at Kelleys on Saturday, May 17.
There is a Mass at 11 followed by the burial, and then lunch at St. Michael's Hall. She also said
she does not want people to go out of their way to attend since kids are still in school and it's
expensive to go. However, if you think you might go, or someone in your family is going, she would
like an idea of about how many will be there for lunch so they can get enough food. She still talks
about how grateful she is that so many came to the funeral.
Dr. Richard Millikin Wilke, age 89, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, after a short illness. He
is survived by his spouse of 64 years, Mary Ellen Wilke (nee: Bauman); daughter, Dr. Mary C. Vitter;
sons Dr. William S. Wilke, Dr. Richard L. Wilke, James B. Wilke and Charles M. Wilke; 17
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and
Caroline (nee: Millikin) Wilke. Funeral Services are private.
